I grew up outside Portland, Oregon and am admitted to practice in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington. I graduated from Oregon State University and Lewis & Clark Law School, served as a law clerk with the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska, and worked for eight years at a full-service law firm where I represented disability insurers in benefits lawsuits. I have a Masters of Law from McGill University’s Faculty of Law and a Masters of Science from the London School of Economics & Political Science. Outside of work I follow soccer, (try to) stay active in the outdoors, and wrangle rambunctious offspring.
Alexa Shasteen
Principal
I’m from Lincoln, Nebraska and am admitted to practice law in Oregon and Washington. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Harvard Law School. After school I clerked for a justice of the Alaska Supreme Court in Anchorage and for the Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in Omaha. I enjoy yoga, look forward to day hikes in all seasons, and am always ready for a good book.
